Heather Garland is a dedicated and enthusiastic litigation paralegal who began her career in the legal field in 2009.
Heather was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she completed an ABA-approved curriculum in paralegal studies at California State University East Bay and graduated with her Paralegal Certificate in 2009. Heather then went on to work for 4 different law firms in the Bay Area between 2010-2016, where she gained experience in a variety of fields of practice, including: construction defect, asbestos/mesothelioma, FELA (railroad accidents), and insurance defense.
In August 2016, Heather moved to the great state of Texas, where she now assists her team of attorneys in a broad range of personal injury and employment lawsuits, with a strong focus on negligent security and premises liability cases.
Heather prides herself on her excellent communication skills and her ability to empathize with her clients. She understands the sensitive nature of most of her cases and the importance of showing compassion to her clients throughout the entire litigation process.
In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and their cat, Mr. BB.
